VERA
Aloe vera has a name that varies , depending
on the region of growth, for example aloe vera (Indonesia), crocodiles tongues
(English), Hasan (Malaysia), salvia (Spain), Lu Hui (China). The
characteristics of the aloe vera plant are as follows:
1. Annual bush, about 1 meter high. Spherical stems are not
woody, monopoly branching, brown.
2. Single leaf, lanceolate, pointed tip , blunt
base, jagged edge, 2.5 cm thick, thick fleshy, slimy, gummy yellow and green in
color.
3. Compound flowers , panicle shape at the end
of the stem, stamens six, the color is red orange.
4. The fruit of the box is about 20cm long,
blessed, and the color is whitish-green.
5. Round, small, and black seeds.
6. Root fibers of dirty yellow color.
Aloe vera also contains several amino acids,
such as Arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, serine, glutamine, threonine,
isin, urosin, pheniialanin, prelin, histidine, leucine, and isoleucine, which
are known to function as the construction of cell cells and body tissues. There
is also a set of macro and micro minerals, namely calcium magnesium and
chromium, which are needed by the body.In order to get mass intake of aloe vera in
processed form, industry, pharmaceuticals have concocted it as an antibiotic ingredient.
For the cosmetics industry, aloe vera is used for shaving cream products, sun
protection, skin moisturizers, facial cleansers, refreshers, masks, lipsticks,
deodorants, and hair conditioners.
Indication
Aloe vera is of great benefit for the
treatment of various mild as well as severe diseases. Treatment by utilizing
aloe vera includes: worms, difficulty urinating, constipation, hair
nourishment, boils, acne, dark spots, stubborn cough, diabetes, laryngitis.

Usage example
The use of aloe vera plants, apart from being an ornamental plant, is also useful for treatment ranging from minor diseases to relatively severe diseases. It can also be used for beauty, examples of its use are:
- Beautiful recipes
To maintain the beauty of the skin, use 3 tablespoons of aloe vera sap or mucus (taken from peeled leaves, then crushed) , plus one or two drops of tea tree essential oil. Combine the two ingredients and then apply on the part of the skin that feels dry. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
- Sore throat
Use one stem of aloe leaves washed and
peeled. The contents are cut into pieces or blended. Add 1 tablespoon of pure
honey. Drink 3 times a day.
- Hairdressing
To fertilize the hair use two washed and then
peeled aloe vera fronds. The contents were rubbed on the scalp that had been
shampooed in the afternoon. Wrap it in a cloth. The next day the hair was
rinsed. For maximum results do it daily for 3 months.
- Stubborn cough
To treat a stubborn cough we can use as much
as 20 grams of aloe leaves that have been washed, peeled, cut into pieces. Give
2 tablespoons of pure honey. Drink twice a day. For maximum results repeat for
10 days.
- Eye fatigue
To treat eye fatigue, slice the aloe leaf
dilatedly and then cool it in the refrigerator for how many minutes. Use it to
compress tired eyes.
- Constipated
To treat constipation with the use of aloe
vera ingredients and honey. The trick is that half the stem of aloe leaves is
washed and peeled. The contents are cut into small pieces. Brew with half a
glass of water. Give 1 tablespoon of honey. Warmly eaten twice a day.
Note:
· Do
not use by pregnant women.
· The
peeled flesh of aloe leaves immediately becomes brownish and melts when exposed
to air. Treatment of open wounds needs to be done as soon as possible!
