Lime and its various benefits

 LIME FRUIT

Usually lime is grown in a yard or garden, it can grow on less fertile soils as long as it is easy to pass on and get full sun. It is said that lime comes from the islands of the eastern Indies. In Indonesia, this plant can be found at an altitude of 1-1,000 DPL. The tree is small densely branched (but irregularly 1.5 – 3.5 m high, The trunk is rounded, short-prickly, stiff and sharp.

Single leaves and narrow-winged petioles. The leaf blades are oblong egg-rounded spai-shaped, rounded base, blunt tip, edgegitated , the upper surface is light green, 2.5-9 cm long.

Compound flowers are arranged in panicles that come out of the armpits of the leaves, star-shaped flowers , diameter 1.5-2.5 cm , white in color, smell good.the fruit is round to ovoid, diameter 2.5-5 cm, Thin-skinned without lumps, green in color that will turn yellow if ripe, the taste is sour. The seeds are numerous, small, slippery, round.

The fruit water is used as a flavoring for dishes, drinks, refreshments, citric acid-making ingredients, cleaning rust, on metals, or skin, which is dirty.besides, it can be used as a traditional medicine or a mixture of herbs.

·         Properties and properties, lime fruit tastes bitter and sour, slightly cold and efficacious to eliminate vital blockages of energy, cough medicine, sputum decay, pee decay, and help the digestive process.

·         Chemical content , lime contains limonene and linalool flying oils. In addition, it also contains flavonoids, such as poncirin, hesperidine, rhoifolin and narigin.cooked fruits contain vitamin A vitamins B1 and C.

·         Utilization, this part of the plant has medicinal properties consisting of the fruit of the flower and its leaves.

4.acne

5.ringworm and panu

8.fever or malarial illness

B . Lime flowers and leaves are used for treatment , high blood pressure.

Example usage :

A . Cough without fever

Cut a ripe lime, then squeeze the water into a glass. Add soy sauce or honey that is equal in quantity to the lime juice just now. Mix thoroughly, then drink at once.do it 2 times a day until it heals

B . Cough and influenza

Cut a lime cook and contain quite a lot of water, then squeeze it.brew the squeezed water with 60 CC of hot water. Add 1/2 teaspoon whiting water while stirring well. Drink this decoction a day 2x2 tablespoons.

C . Mucus in the throat

Cut a lime, then squeeze the water into a saucer. Add 3 grated shallots, a little salt and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, then mix thoroughly. Compress the potion on the garden and the head of the baby or child.

D . Pimple

Cut the lime to taste, then squeeze the water ja in a saucer. Add 1 teaspoon of sulfur powder while stirring well. Apply the mixture to the face with acne.

Cut thin ripe lime thinly. Rub the cut on the acne-prone and oily part of the face.do it 2-3 times a day.

E . Ringworm and panu

Wash one handful of Landep roots thoroughly, then mash finely . Add the squeezed water of 1 lime while stirring well. Apply it to the part of the skin that is ringworm or panu, then wrap it with a bandage. Change dressings 2 times a day until cured.

F . Dizzy head

Taste 1/2 spoon, soak fresh lime leaves until clean and then finely grind. Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice while stirring well. Rub this herb on the nape, forehead and temples. Do it 2-3 times a day

G . Sore throat

Cut into 3 limes, cook and then squeeze . Brew the squeezed water with 1/2 cup of hot water, then add 1 tablespoon of honey while stirring well. While it is warm , use this decoction to rinse your mouth and throat for 2-3 minutes.do it 3 times a day.

H . fever ,heat malaria

Provide lime leaves, Kendal leaves 3 pieces each and 5 pieces of thug leaves .boil the ingredients in 3 cups of clean water until one glass is left.after cooling strain and the filter water is divided for 2 times, drink, morning and evening.
