Prophet Yakub Alaihissalam

Prophet Yakub Alaihissalam is the son of the prophet Isaac Alaihissalom, his mother is Rafiqah, he born in Kanamiyyin or Kan’an which is called Palestine and he was sent by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala became an apostle to lead his people so that they worship Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Almighty God.

Prophet Yakub Alaihissalam became an apostle in the country Lll Kan’an according to other narrations, he was sent to a village called Nanulla, and a young man in that area grew crops and also raised livestock. Prophet Yakub Alaihisselam had two wives, both of whom were still siblings of yetu, Laya and Rabil. And Rahil gave birth to two children, namely:

 1.Yusuf

 And Zulfa gave birth to two delicious people namely:

 1.Daan

 2.Nafhtali

As for and Halha, he gave birth to two children, namely:

1.Yad

All of them are called Al-Ashasth which means the children of Jacob, totaling 12 people and also means tribes, namely they have one ancestor or father, thus each of Jacob’s children is the father of the tabath or the tribes of the Children of Israel because each of them and they have many offspring.

WHEN THE PROPHET YA’QUB ALAIHISSALAM RECEIVED REVELATION

On the way to his uncle’s house, which is in the Arabian blackout area, the Prophet Yakub Alaihissalam slept for a while to relieve his tiredness. At that time the Prophet Yakub Alaihissalam received revelations from Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Through his dreams. In his dream it was revealed, “I am Allah, there is no god but me. I am your Lord and the Lord your Father. I have bequeathed this holy earth in (Baitul Maqdis) for you and your descendants and I have blessed you and I gave you the book and lessons and wisdom and prophethood.”

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPHET OF YAQUB ALAIHISSALAM

The descendants of the Prophet Yaqub are very many, they are called Al Asbath which means the tribes of the Children of Israel, trail is the title and the Prophet Yaqub Alaihissalam, that’s why Prophet Yaqub Alaihissalam is also called the Prophet of Israel which means he is a person who likes to walk at night, because at the time of migration to Palestine Prophet Yaqub Alaihissalam walked at night and during the day he rested.

Prophet Yaqub Alaihissalam also died at the age of 147 years in Egypt due to he has advanced in age, following his son, namely the Prophet Yusuf Alaihissalam who became a dignitary in the land of Egypt. He lived in Egypt and gave birth to many descendants in Egypt. This is the origin of the Israelites who were scattered in the land of Egypt, which were later liberated by nabi Musa Alaihissalam from the Pharaoh’s occupation.

1.Prophet Yaqub Alaihissalam is the son of the prophet Isa bin Ibrahim.

2.He was sent by Allah to the land of Kan’an as Ratul to call on humans to worship lord Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala the Almighty.

3.The descendants of the Prophet Vakub Alaihissalam are referred to as Al arbat which means tribe the Kaaba of the children of Israel, each of them had many descendants.

4. Prophet Ya'qub Alaihissalam dead at the age of 147 years.
