THE LAW OF KARMA

Islam and the law of karma

Islam is a religion that highly upholds justice. Allah also has other names related to justice such as   Al-'Adl   (The Most Just) or Al-Hakim (The Most Judge). deed, the party will be rewarded.

"Whoever does good as heavy as dzarrah (atomic seed), surely he will receive (reply) it. And whoever does evil weighing dzarrah (atomic seed), surely he will receive (retribution)

In my opinion there is no law of karma in Islam because it is different from the principle of faith. In Islam we believe that Allah is Just and all our actions are pasted.there is a reward, both in this world and in the hereafter, as in the verse above.

However, Islam does not recognize the existence of a second chance to descend in the world to correct all mistakes and the existence of hereditary sins that will be passed on to their offspring. Because every human being must be responsible for what he does, and not other people or his descendants. This is in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. peace be upon him, "Each of you is a leader, and will be held accountable for his leadership (his actions)." (Narrated by Bukhari)

In addition, not all things that happen to humans are due to "investment" in good or evil in the past. Because it could be that the good that is given to humans is because God is pouring out His grace, or it could be that the problems faced by humans are a problem. trials from Him which aims to test human faith in order to pass the next level.

This has been explained in His words: "Do people think that they will be left alone to say: "We have believed", even though their faith has not been tested?" (Surat al-Ankabut [29]: 2-3)

Here it is clear that there is a fundamental difference between the law of karma and what is believed by Islam. But for sure, Allah is the King of all kings of justice. As explained in Surah Al-Zalzalah that all actions will be rewarded. If humans do good, then the reward is reward and goodness. On the other hand, if a human commits a crime, then sin is the recompense. like there is a law of reward and punishment/carrot and stick.
