PART EIGHT
Seek Allah's satisfaction - 2
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbana wa-j'alna Muslimayni laka wa min Dhurriyatina 'Ummatan Muslimatan laka wa 'Arina Manasikana wa tub 'alayna 'innaka 'antat-Tawwabu-Raheem
Our Lord! Make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will); and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.Surah Al-Baqarah - 2:128
Seek Allah's satisfaction - 3
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيمُ
Rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas Sameeaul Aleem
Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.
Surah Al-Baqarah - 2:127
Seek Allah's satisfaction - 4

Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 1
رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Rabbana wasi'ta kulla sha'ir Rahmatanw wa 'ilman faghfir lilladhina tabu wattaba'u sabilaka waqihim 'adhabal-Jahiim
Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.Surah Ghafir - 40:7
Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 2
رَبَّنَآ اِنَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunuubana wa qinna 'adhaban-Naar
Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire.
Surah Al-Imran - 3:16
Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 3
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هٰذَا بَاطِلًا ۚ سُبْحٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. رَبَّنَآ اِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ اَخْزَيْتَهٗ ۭ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ مِنْ اَنْصَارٍ. رَبَّنَآ اِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُّنَادِيْ لِلْاِيْمَانِ اَنْ اٰمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاٰمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّاٰتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْاَبْرَارِ. رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَّنَا عَلٰي رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۭاِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَادَ.
Rabbana ma khalaqta hadha batila Subhanaka faqina 'adhaban-Naar. Rabbana innaka man tudkhilin nara faqad akhzaytah wa ma liDh-dhalimeena min ansar. Rabbanaa Innanaa Sami’-Naa Munaadiyay Yunaadee Lil – Eemaani An Aaminoo Birabbikum Fa- Aamannaa Rabbanaa Faghfir Lanaa D’unoobanaa Wa Kaffir A’nnaaa Sayyi- Aatinaa Wa Tawaffanaa Ma-A’l Abraaar. Rabbanaa Wa Aatinaa Maa Wa-A’ttanaa A’laa Rusulika Wa Laa Tukhzinaa Yawal Qiyaamah Innak Laa Tukhliful Mee’a’ad.
Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. *Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers. *Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad p.b.u.h.) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. *Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abraar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders). *Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise.Surah Al-Imran 191-194
Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 4

Surah Al-Imran - 3:16

Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 10
ۭرَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَآ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَآ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَآ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَي الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ ۚ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا ۪ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۪ وَارْحَمْنَا ۪ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْــصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ
Rabbanaa Laa Too-Akhid’naaa In-Naseenaa Aw Akht’aanaa Rabbanaa wa Laa Tah’mil A’laynaaa Is’ran Kamaa Ha’maltahoo A’lal Lad’eena min Qablinaa Rabbanaa wa Laa Tuh’ammilnaa Maa Laa T’aaqata Lanaa Bih Wa’-Fu A’nnaa Waghfirlanaa Warh’amnaa Anta Mawlaanaa Fans’urnaa A’lal Qawmil Kaafireen
Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us; our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people."Surah Al-Baqarah - 2:286
Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 11

Seek forgiveness and protection from hell - 12
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Rabbana atmim lana nurana waighfir lana innaka 'ala kulli shay-in qadir
Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things.
Surah Tahreem - 8
Seek protection from culprits - 1
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Qala Rabbi innee thalamtunafsee faghfir lee faghafara lahu innahu huwa alghafooruarraheem Rabbi bima anAAamtaAAalayya falan akoona thaheeran lilmujrimeen Rabbi najjinee mina alqawmi aththalimeen
He (Musa) said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me," and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. "My Lord, for the favor You bestowed upon me, I will never be an assistant to the criminals. My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people."
Surah Al-Qasas - 28:16-17, 21
Settle a debt - 1
اللّهُـمَّ اكْفِـني بِحَلالِـكَ عَنْ حَـرامِـك، وَأَغْنِـني بِفَضْـلِكِ عَمَّـنْ سِـواك
Allaahummak-finee bihalaalika 'an haraamika wa 'aghninee bifadhlika 'amman siwaaka
O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You.At-Tirmidhi: 3563
Strengthen your Imaan - 1
رَضِيتُ باللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَى اللَّهُ عَلِيهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيَّاً. (ثلاثاً)
Radeetu billahi rabban wabil-islami deenan wabiMuhammadin peace be upon to him nabiyya.
I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, and Islam as a religion and Muhammad peace be upon to him as a Prophet. (three times)Abu Dawud 4:318
Strengthen your Imaan - 2
َعُوْذُ بِاللهِ
`A'udhu billah
I seek refuge in Allah.Abu Dawud: 5
Strengthen your Imaan - 3
آمَنْـتُ بِاللهِ وَرُسُـلِه
Aamantu billaahi wa Rusulihi
I believe in Allah and His Messenger.Abu Dawud: 4329 Al-Bukhari: 3055
Strengthen your Imaan - 4
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ ھَدَيْتَنَا وَھَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَھَّابُ
Rabbanaa Laa Tuzigh Quloobanaa Ba’-Da Id’hadaytanaa Wa Hab Lanaa Mil Ladunka Rah’mah Innaka Antal Wahaab
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.Surah Al-Imran - 3:8
Strengthen your Imaan - 5
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَ اِسْرَافَنَا فِيْٓ اَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ
Rabbanaghfir lanaa d’unoobanaa wa israafanaa fee amrinaa wa thabbit aqdaamanaa wan s’urnaa a’lal qawmil kaafireen
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.Surah Al-Imran - 3:147
Strengthen your Imaan - 6
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ ھَدَيْتَنَا وَھَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَھَّابُ
Rabbanaa Laa Tuzigh Quloobanaa Ba’-Da Id’hadaytanaa Wa Hab Lanaa Mil Ladunka Rah’mah Innaka Antal Wahaab
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.Surah Al-Imran - 3:8

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، انَّالْحَمْدَ، وَالنِّعْمَةَ، لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbayk Allaahumma labbayk, labbayk laa shareeka laka labbayk, 'innal-hamda, wanni'mata, laka walmulk, laa shareeka laka.
Ever at Your service, O Allah, every at Your service. Ever at Your Service, You have no partner, ever at Your service. Verily all praise, blessings and dominions are Yours. You have no partner.Muslim 2:841
To alleviate pain - 1
بِسْمِ اللهِ , بِسْمِ اللهِ , بِسْمِ اللهِ أَعُوذُ باللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مَنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
Bismillaah, Bismillaah, Bismillaah 'A'oothu billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri maa 'ajidu wa 'uhaathiru
In the Name of Allah I seek refuge in Allah and in His Power from the evil of what I find and of what I guard against.Ibn Majah: 3522
To be a pious Muslim - 1
رَبَّنَا لاَ تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbanaa Laa Taj-a’lnaa Ma – A’l Qawmiz’ Z’aalimeen
Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrong doers).
Surah Al-A'raf - 7:47
To be a pious Muslim - 2
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Rabbi fala tajAAalnee fee alqawmi aththalimeen
My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people.Surah Al-Mu'minoon - 23:94
To keep your family safe from transgressors. - 1
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ
Rabbi najjinee waahlee mimma ya'maloon.
My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do.Surah Ash-Shu'araa - 26:169
To make us practising Muslims - 1
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلَتْ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَِ
Rabbana amanna bima anzalta wattaba 'nar-Rusula fak-tubna ma'ash-Shahideen
Our Lord! We believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger. Then write us down among those who bear witness.Surah Al-Imran - 3:53
To trust upon Allah - 1
حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
H’asbiyallaah Laaa Ilaaha Illaa – Huw A’layhi Tawakkaltu Wa Huwa Rabbul A’rshil A’z’eem
Allah is sufficient for me. Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.Surah At-Tawbah - 9:129
To trust upon Allah - 2
وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
wa ufawwidhu amree ila Allahi innallaha baseerun bil ibaad
And you will remember what I [now] say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah . Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.Surah Ghafir - 40:44
Upon drinking milk - 1
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِِكْ لَنا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
Allahumma baarik lana feehi wa zidna minhu
O Allah! Bless us in it and give us increase of it.At-Tirmidhi 5:506
Upon Entering Home - 1
بِسْـمِ اللّهِ وَلَجْنـَا، وَبِسْـمِ اللّهِ خَـرَجْنـَا، وَعَلَـى رَبِّنـَا تَوَكّلْـنَا.
Bismil-lahi walajna, wabismil-lahi kharajna, waAAala rabbina tawakkalna.
In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.
Abu Dawud 4:325
Upon entering Mosque - 1
أَعوذُ بِاللّهِ العَظِيـمِ، وَبِوَجْهِـهِ الكَرِيـمِ وَسُلْطـَانِه القَدِيـمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْـطَانِ الرَّجِـيمِ، [ بِسْـمِ اللّهِ وَالصَّلَاةُ ] [وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللّهِ]، اَللَّهُـمَّ افْتَـحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتـِكَ.
aAAoothu billahil-AAatheem wabiwajhihil-kareem wasultanihil-qadeem minash-shaytanir-rajeem, [bismil-lah, wassalatu] [wassalamu AAala rasoolil-lah] , allahumma iftah lee abwaba rahmatik.
I take refuge with Allah, The Supreme and with His Noble Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil. In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.Abu Dawud: 4591
When One Sees Someone Sneezing - 1
يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ
Yar hamu kal-laahu.
May Allah have mercy upon youAl-Bukhar 7:126
Upon hearing thunder - 1
سُبْـحانَ الّذي يُسَبِّـحُ الـرَّعْدُ بِحَمْـدِهِ، وَالملائِكـةُ مِنْ خيـفَته
Subhaanal-lathee yusabbihur-ra'du bihamdihi walmalaa'ikatu min kheefatihi
Glory is to Him Whom thunder and angels glorify due to fear of Him.Al-Muwatta' 2:99
Upon Leaving Mosque - 1
بِسْمِ اللّهِ وَالصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللّهِ، اَللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْـلِكَ، اَللَّهُـمَّ اعْصِمْنِـي مِنَ الشَّيْـطَانِ الرَّجِـيمِ.
Bismil-lah wassalatu wassalamu AAala rasoolil-lah, allahumma innee as-aluka min fadlik, allahumma iAAsimnee minash-shaytanir-rajeem.
In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your favour. O Allah, guard me from the accursed devil.

Upon reaching the Yemeni corner during Tawaf - 1
رَبَّنآ ءَاتِنَا فِى اْلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَ فى الاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ اْلنَّارِ
Rabbana aatina fid dunniyya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban nar
Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the FireAbu Dawud
Upon seeing someone going through a trial or tribulation - 1
الْحَمْـدُ للهِ الّذي عافاني مِمّا ابْتَـلاكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَـني عَلى كَثيـرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَـقَ تَفْضـيلا
Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'aafaanee mimmab-talaaka bihi wa fadhdhalanee 'alaa katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdheela
Praise is to Allah Who has spared me what He has afflicted you with, and preferred me greatly above much of what He has created.

Upon seeing someone going through a trial or tribulation - 2

When a loss occurs - 1
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raajioon
Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return.Surah Al-Baqarah 2:156
When a loss occurs - 2
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raajioon
Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return.Surah Al-Baqarah 2:156
When at Mount Safa and Mount Marwah - 1
أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللهُ بِهِ. لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَ اللهُ أَكْـبَر لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
Abda’u bi maa bada’-allaahu bih allaahu akbar, allaahu akbar, allaahu akbar laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer, laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu, anjaza wa‛dahu, wa naṣara ‛abdahu, wa hazam-al-’aḥzaaba waḥdah
I begin with what Allah began with.Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant and single-handedly defeated the allies.
Muslim 2:888
When beginning a meal - 1
بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.Sunnah of Prophet (SAW
When beginning the Fast- Seher - 1
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri ramadan
I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan.Abu Dawud
When beginning the Fast- Seher - 2
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri ramadan
I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of RamadanAbu Dawud
For deceased - 1
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ الَّلهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ
Allaahum-maghfir lahu Allaahumma thabbithu
O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, strengthen him.Abu Dawud 3:315
For deceased - 2
اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِـ-فُلاَنٍ (باسـمه)وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـهُ فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـهُ في عَقِـبِهِ في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـهُ يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَهُ في قَبْـرِهِ وَنَـوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ
Allaahummaghfir li (name of the person) warfa' darajatahu fil-mahdiyyeena, wakhlufhu fee 'aqibihi fil-ghaabireena , waghfir-lanaa wa lahu yaa Rabbal-'aalameena, wafsah lahu fee qabrihi wa nawwir lahu feehi
O Allah, forgive [name of the person] and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.Muslim 2:634
Upon completing ablution - 1
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَريـكَ لَـهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّـداً عَبْـدُهُ وَرَسُـولُـهُ.
Ashhadu an la ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan AAabduhu warasooluh.
I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.Muslim 1:209
Upon completing ablution - 2
اَللَّهُـمَّ اجْعَلْنِـي مِنَ التَّـوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَـلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّـرِينَ.
Allahummaj-AAalnee minat-tawwabeena wajAAalnee minal-mutatahhireen.
O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.At-Tirmidhi 1:78
Upon completing ablution - 3
سُبْحـَانَكَ اللَّهُـمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَـيْكَ.
Subhanakal-lahumma wabihamdika ashhadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa-atoobu ilayk.
How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You.An-Nasa'i: 173
When dining at someones house - 1
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Allahumma barik lahum feema razaqtahum, waghfir lahum, war hamhum
O Allah! Bless them in what You have provided for them, and forgive them and have Mercy on them.
Muslim 3:1615
When entering market - 1
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخُيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ
Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyee wa yumeetu, wa Huwa hayyun laa yamootu, biyadihil-khayru, wa Huwa alaa kulli shayin Qadeer.
There is no Lord except Allah. He is One and has no partners. His is the Kingdom and for Him are all praises. He gives life and gives death. He is eternal and everlasting In His control is goodness, and He has power over everything.At-Tirmidhi 5:291, Al-Hakim 1:538
When feeling frightened - 1
لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّه
Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu
There is none worthy of worship but Allah.Al-Bukhari: 3346
When given a drink - 1
اللَّهُمَّ اطْعِمَّ مَنْ اطْعَمَنِي وَاسْقِِِ ِ مَنْ سَقَانِيِ
Allahumma at’im man at’amani, wasqi man saqani
O Allah! Feed him who fed me and give him drink who gave me to drink.Muslim 3:126
When going to Mosque - 1
اللّهُـمَّ اجْعَـلْ في قَلْبـي نورا ، وَفي لِسـاني نورا، وَاجْعَـلْ في سَمْعي نورا، وَاجْعَـلْ في بَصَري نورا، وَاجْعَـلْ مِنْ خَلْفي نورا، وَمِنْ أَمامـي نورا، وَاجْعَـلْ مِنْ فَوْقـي نورا ، وَمِن تَحْتـي نورا .اللّهُـمَّ أَعْطِنـي نورا.
Allahumma ijAAal fee qalbee noora, wafee lisanee noora, wajAAal fee samAAee noora,wajAAal fee basaree noora, wajAAal min khalfee noora, wamin amamee noora ,wajAAal min fawqee noora, wamin tahtee noora, allahumma aAAtinee noora.
O Allah, place within my heart light, and upon my tongue light, and within my ears light, and within my eyes light, and place behind me light and in front of me light and above me light and beneath me light. O Allah, bestow upon me light.Muslim: 1:526,529-530, Al-Bukhari 11:116
When in distress - 1
لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰــنَكَ اِنِّىْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ
Laa Ilaha Illaaa Anta Subh’aanaka Innee Kuntu Minaz” Z’aalimeen
None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah), Glorified (and Exalted) are You. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.Surah Al-Anbiya - 21:87
When in distress - 2
اللّهُـمَّ رَحْمَتَـكَ أَرْجـوفَلا تَكِلـني إِلى نَفْـسي طَـرْفَةَ عَـيْن، وَأَصْلِـحْ لي شَأْنـي كُلَّـه لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أنْـت
Allaahumma rahmataka 'arjoo falaa takilnee 'ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin, wa 'aslih lee sha'nee kullahu, laa'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment). Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You.Abu Dawud: 5090
